Putnam County Schools in West Virginia seeks a Bus Operator (S1967) to operate school buses and transportation vehicles per state rules. The role requires a valid Class B CDL with Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements, a high school diploma or GED, and WV School Bus Operator’s Certificate.
Employment is 200 days with early AM and late PM routes. The operator will perform pre-trip inspections, safety checks, and adhere to the district’s transportation handbook.
Formación
- Holds a high school diploma or GED or TASC.
- Holds a Commercial Driver’s License, Class B, Passenger and Airbrake Endorsements.
- Passes the required physical examination.
- Has three years of experience as a licensed driver.
- Passes the DMV Driving Record Check.
- Passes the Drug/Alcohol Screening.
- Completes 40 hours of classroom training and 20 hours of behind the wheel training.
- Holds First Aid/CPR Certification.
- Holds a West Virginia School Bus Operator’s Certificate.
