Job description

Transdev is hiring immediately for bus drivers at NC State University, Raleigh NC. We are looking for safe, friendly drivers to help passengers move around and throughout the NC State campus area. Part-time schedules are available - two to three days a week/approximately 20-25 hours. You have the option to pick up additional shifts when available. Great for those with second job looking to suppliment income or just looking for more flexibility!

Responsibilities

• Drive a transit bus and transport passengers safely, timely and efficiently throughout and around NC State University Campus
• Greet passengers and maintain a safe environment.
• Properly report all incidents, accidents, mechanical concerns
• Other duties as required to ensure a safe and courteous ride for our passengers.

Qualifications

• Be at least 21 years old with a high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
• A valid drivers’ license in good standing with the ability to obtain a CDL permit Class B w/ Passenger endorsement, prior to first day of training.
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Punctual with an emphasis on attendance
