Job summary

RTS is seeking a Livingston bus driver to operate a bus along designated routes in a safe, customer-focused manner. The role supports full-time and part-time shifts with paid training and a competitive hourly rate.

Eligible applicants must hold a NY CDL with Passenger endorsement or be prepared to train; a Class B permit with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements is required before start. Expect comprehensive benefits and a commitment to safety and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Valid NY State CDL (A/B/C) with Passenger endorsement; no seating restrictions preferred.
• If not fully licensed, RTS will train you; Class B permit with Passenger and Air Brake endorsements required before start.

Responsibilities

• Operate a bus or revenue service vehicle along designated routes and schedules.
• Assist customers with boarding and exiting; respond to requests via scheduled service or radio/phone.
• Complete trip logs, report vehicle malfunctions, and conduct pre-trip inspections; paid training provided.
