Job summary

The City of Fort Collins is seeking a Worker I, Fleet (Bus Fueler) to fuel, wash, and top off engine fluids for a fleet of 50+ transit buses and 30 other vehicles. Work at Transfort Maintenance Facility with a team of technicians, fuelers, and drivers.

Hours are Mon–Sat, 5:00 PM–1:30 AM. CDL training is provided if needed; full benefits apply after probation. CDL license may be required for some duties.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1–2 years related experience driving and working around heavy duty vehicles preferred.
• Current CDL with P2 and air brake endorsement or ability to obtain within 90 days.

Responsibilities

• Fuels, washes, parks buses and other vehicles at Transfort Shop.
• Check engine fluids and move vehicles to parking area.
• Wash exteriors by hand or with drive-through system.
• Operate or move large vehicles; CDL may be required for road use.
• Perform minor repairs as needed.
