Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Possession of a current CDL license Class B.
  • General knowledge of basic automotive service. Ability to fuel commercial vehicles and identify/report needed repairs.
  • Related experience including oil, fluid checks (coolant, transmission, power steering, water).

Responsibilities

  • Check, record, and fill all fluid levels on regular and spare buses.
  • Report interior faults to Fleet Supervisor and perform seat repairs as needed.
  • Follow instructions and process work orders accurately.
  • Sweep and clean interior of spare buses as needed.
  • Coordinate with maintenance on vehicle repairs.
  • Check operation of equipment like wipers, headlights, brake lights.
  • Observe tires and report low/flat conditions.
  • Maintain pump area and ground space; clean spills.
  • Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervisor.
