Job summary

River Valley Transit Authority in Williamsport, PA is hiring immediately for a maintenance helper on our bus fleet. This full-time position offers a 40-hour week, regular days off, and opportunities to grow in a busy transit shop.

You will assist class mechanics, perform minor repairs such as tire changes, lighting, and mirrors, and help service and clean buses and fleet vehicles. A clean driving record and valid license are required, with adherence to DOT drug and alcohol regulations.

Qualifications

• Applicant must have an excellent driving record (verified through the State Motor Vehicle Department).
• All applicants must possess a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Assist any class mechanics in the performance of their duties.
• Minor mechanical repairs including: tire changing, lighting, mirrors
• Servicing/Cleaning of Buses and Fleet Vehicles
