Job summary

Transdev North America in Boston, MA seeks experienced Mechanics to diagnose, repair, and maintain diesel, propane, and electric engine school buses. You\'ll ensure safety, efficiency, and longevity of our fleet while working with a team of skilled technicians.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience as a Diesel or Automotive Mechanic.
• Bus or heavy-duty truck repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver\'s license with clean MV record.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• ASE certifications in school bus, heavy truck, and/or transit bus preferred.
• Must possess a Mechanic\'s Tool Set.

Responsibilities

• Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools to troubleshoot diesel, propane, and electric engine issues.
• Perform moderate repairs and replacements on diesel, propane, and electric engine components.
• Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks.
• Execute routine maintenance to prevent breakdowns and optimize engine performance.
• Lead diagnostic tests to identify complex issues and determine repair strategies.
• Provide guidance to junior technicians and mentor skill development.
