Job summary

Transdev is seeking a Shop Foreman to lead a team of mechanics and maintenance staff. You will perform A-level mechanical duties, conduct PMs, and prepare buses for DOT inspections while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance across the shop.

You will schedule repairs, manage outside labor when needed, and monitor daily maintenance obligations. The role requires strong communication and hands-on leadership in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
• 7+ years in repair/maintenance of heavy-duty transit equipment.
• 3+ years in a supervisory role.
• CDL Class B with passenger and airbrake endorsements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform the duties of an A-level mechanic, including PMs and preparing buses for DOT inspections.
• Supervise mechanics and maintenance staff and coordinate with outside labor.
• Schedule repairs and maintenance for LNG and diesel equipment.
• Direct safety and regulatory compliance across daily activities.
• Create work orders, assign tasks, and monitor performance and quality.
