Job summary

North Newton School Corporation is seeking reliable and safety-minded individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers. This position transports students to and from school and activities.

You will operate a school bus on assigned routes, perform pre- and post-trip inspections, maintain student discipline, and follow district policies. Part-time hours include morning and afternoon routes with potential additional trips.

Qualifications

• CDL with school bus endorsement required or able to obtain.
• Must pass background check, physical, and drug screen.

North Newton School Corporationis seeking reliable and safety-minded individuals to join our team as School Bus Drivers. This position plays an important role in safely transporting students to and from school and school-related activities.

Safely operate a school bus on assigned routes.

Ensure the safety of all passengers during transport.

Perform required pre- and post-trip inspections.

Maintain student discipline and follow school policies.

Part-time hours with morning and afternoon routes (additional trip opportunities may be available).

Requirements:

Must possess or be able to obtain a CDL with school bus and passenger endorsements (training may be provided).

Must pass background check, physical, and drug screen.

Dependability, good communication skills, and strong commitment to student safety.

Starting pay $23.00/hour after probationary period.
