BUS DRIVER - SUBSTITUTE
SUMMARY: The Substitute Bus Driver will be responsible for the safe transportation of students of the Allegan Public School System. Other duties involve managing the operation of the school bus to ensure a safe and hazard-free environment for all students.

QUALIFICATIONS:
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: School year only - Substitute position currently with the possibility of a permanent route becoming available. Benefits per agreement between the Allegan Public Schools and the Allegan Bus Drivers.
SALARY: Training wages $13 per hour / Beginning wage for sub bus drivers is $19.63 per hour (prior years of experience may be granted) and regular route bus drivers is $20.69.
LOCATION: Transportation Facilities, 1521 34th Street, Allegan, MI 49010
REPORTS TO: Transportation Supervisor
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Continuously required to sit and occasionally required to walk or stand. Frequently bend or twist at the neck and trunk. Frequently repeats the same hand, arm or finger motion many times. Frequently uses hand strength to grasp tools. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds such as students. Vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and peripheral vision.
