Position Purpose:
Yorkville High School desires a highly motivated professional to serve as a FMLA Substitute Teacher in our Wellness Division. The FMLA leave starts August 12th through November 22, 2024. Qualified candidates will provide daily instruction for five sections of 9-12 Wellness Instruction.

Essential Performance Responsibilities:

• Qualified candidates will provide daily instruction for five sections of freshmen level PE courses.
• Position will serve a variety of activity based Physical Education offerings.
• Prior experience delivering a fitness based PE program preferred, not required.
• Preferred candidates would also possess credentials to teach Health and/or Driver's Education.
• Preferred candidates would be interested to support in the Athletic Department.

Qualifications Profile:

• Certification/License: Professional Educator License (PEL).
• Driver's Education endorsement preferred.

Education:

• Bachelors from an accredited college or university in Education or related discipline applicable to teaching assignment.

Experience:
Successful prior teaching experience for the appropriate grade levels a plus.
