Job summary

The Town of Snowmass Village is hiring a bus driver for our Transit team on a part-time, in-person basis. The role requires operating a transit vehicle on designated routes in compliance with CDL and FMCSA regulations while delivering friendly service to guests and residents.

Starting wages begin at $29.60 per hour, with a posted range up to $38.47. Ski pass or recreation benefit valued at $1,600 is included, plus sick leave accrual and employee assistance programs.

Qualifications

• CDL B with airbrakes and passenger endorsement.
• Previous driving experience in a truck or bus is desirable.
• Previous experience in a customer service role.
• Defensive Driving training and/or transit coach safety training.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a transit vehicle over designated routes in accordance with CDL and FMCSA regulations.
• Provide information and service with a positive attitude to guests/residents.
• Record vehicle condition and passenger boarding activity.
• Communicate information in person and over a radio; assist passengers as needed.

The Town of Snowmass Village is looking to hire a bus driver to join our Transit team!

This is an in-person part-time position

Wages for new hires start at $29.60

Position Hourly range: $29.60 - $38.47

SkiPass or Recreation Benefit in the amount of $1600!

We are looking for a bus driver that will safely operate a transit vehicle over designated routes in accordance with Commercial Drivers License (CDL) regulations, Federal Motor Carrier Safety regulations, and Town policies; politely provide information and service with a positive attitude to guests/residents of the community; make a record of vehicle condition and passenger boarding activity which may involve simple math; provide direction/information to customers on a variety of issues; communicate information in person and over a radio; and operate equipment to assist physically challenged individuals.

The ideal candidate has the following qualifications:

• CDL B with airbrakes and passenger endorsement
• A previous driving experience in a truck or bus is desirable
• Previous experience in a customer service role
• Defensive Driving training and/or transit coach safety training
