This position is suitable for individuals seeking a part-time, non-exempt role with flexible hours, immediately available, and with responsibilities centered around student transportation and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students on scheduled routes, field trips, athletic runs, and special events.
• Assist students during loading and unloading, ensuring they are released to approved persons.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections, fueling, and bus cleaning.
• Report needed repairs and maintenance to the Transportation Coordinator.
• Support Facilities, Grounds, and Athletics with daily event tasks.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CDL with “S” endorsement; Passenger & Airbrake endorsements required.
• Ability to maintain a calm presence and communicate effectively.
• Interpersonal skills, solution-oriented, flexible, and positive attitude.
• CPR/AED/First Aid certification preferred; provided upon hire if needed.
• Reliable transportation to/from work.
• Experience working with students, faculty, staff, and parents preferred.
