About TKC Therapy

At The Kidz Club, children have the opportunity to receive highly skilled and intensive therapy services from Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs), Physical Therapists (PTs), and Occupational Therapists (OTs). TKC Therapy operates within the kids’ natural environment, offering flexible schedules that allow therapy at the most opportune times. We collaborate closely with doctors, nurses, teachers, and parents to promote carryover and maximize progress.

Bus Driver Position

We are seeking drivers skilled in operating light buses and/or vans to transport clients to and from contracted vendors and designated locations. This role involves working exclusively with The Kidz Club PPEC, transporting children from birth to 21 years with complex medical needs. Responsibilities

• Complete the training program within 30 days of employment, including hands-on training with another driver and an online course.
• Transport clients according to a pre-planned route and schedule, communicating effectively with parents and staff.
• Drive cautiously and in compliance with traffic laws.
• Ensure passenger safety during loading, unloading, and transit.
• Follow Passenger Assistance guidelines and passenger restraint procedures.
• Operate manual and remote-controlled wheelchair lifts.
• Manage bus heating and ventilation for passenger comfort.
• Log vehicle inspections and cleanliness daily, reporting any concerns.
• Perform weekly checks on water, gas, oil, and mechanical condition.
• Report delays, accidents, and vehicle defects immediately.
• Maintain operational records and ensure regular vehicle maintenance.
• Perform vehicle cleaning as needed.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of traffic and highway safety rules and precautions to prevent accidents.
• Ability to complete forms and records, including route sheets, timesheets, incident reports, etc.
• Proficiency with basic computer functions and smartphones.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
