White Bear Lake Area Schools, ISD #624 is seeking a semi-skilled transportation aide to operate a school bus and transport students to and from school. The role requires a valid school bus license or the ability to obtain one, and prior experience working with children is preferred.
Start date is ASAP and the position runs for 173 school days per year. The driver will follow the transportation supervisor's directions and ensure safe student pickup and delivery as assigned.

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: Per the Transportation Contract. $28.00/hour
Description: Performs semiskilled work driving a school bus, picking up and delivering students to/from school, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Transportation Supervisor. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education Required: High School Diploma or GED.
Experience Desired/Special Requirements: School Bus license required. Experience in working with children, reading maps and driving a school bus. Potential hires must either have a class B license with a school bus and passenger endorsement or possess the ability to acquire one.
