Job summary

White Bear Lake Area Schools #624 is seeking a transportation/bus driver to safely transport students to and from school. The role requires a High School Diploma or GED and a valid Class B school bus license with endorsement (or ability to obtain one). Work is up to 5.25 hours per day, 173 days per year, starting ASAP.

Salary is $28.00 per hour under the Transportation Contract. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, map reading skills, and a commitment to safety.

Description:Performs semiskilled work driving a school bus, picking up and delivering students to/from school, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the general direction of the Transportation Supervisor. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Education Required:High School Diploma or GED.
Experience desired/Special Requirements:School Bus license required.
Experience in working with children, reading maps and driving a school bus. Potential hires must either have a class B license with a school bus and passenger endorsement or possess the ability to acquire one.
