Job summary

Student Transportation Of America is seeking a school bus driver to safely transport students along fixed routes. You will receive training, support from local management, and perform daily vehicle inspections, ensuring safety standards are met.

This part-time role offers a predictable schedule during the school year with opportunities for extra work, paid training, sign-on bonuses, and paid sick/snow days. Must be 21+, hold a valid license and pass screenings.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for at least one year
• At least 21 years old
• 1 year of driving experience (class A/B/C/D/E)
• Pass pre-employment screenings
• Ability to work with people in a positive manner

Responsibilities

• Deliver students safely to and from school along set routes
• Perform daily vehicle inspections
• Adhere to school bus safety and stop safety standards
• Support and collaborate with local management and training teams

Job description

Come join our team! As a school bus driver, you will have the support of a dedicated, local management team and the training needed to perform your job safely, and with care. Bus drivers are responsible for the safe delivery of students to and from school along set routes, adherence to school bus safety and bus stop safety standards, and daily vehicle inspections, among other duties.

What We Offer:

• Sign-On Bonus:
• $2,500 Sign on bonus for fully licensed CDL A/B with S & P endorsements - paid in increments -Offer good 1/1/2026-12/31/2026
• $1,000 Sign on bonus for Driver Trainees - paid in increments - Offer good 1/1/2026-12/31/2026
• Pay Range: $21.74-$25.75
• No experience required! Paid School Bus Training

What the position offers:

What is required:

If you have had a valid drivers’ license for at least one year, we want to hear from you!
