Job summary

Job description

Summary of Position: Safely and reliably transport and assist students to and from school. Must be available for both A.M. and P.M. runs. Opportunities for extra bus route runs such as: educational and sporting events, and/or other special or school-related activities, may be available.

Qualifications:

• At least 18 years old
• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Valid Driver's License required
• CDL with Class B, P, and S endorsements preferred; CDL training provided, if necessary
• Subject to Background Check, Drug Screen, and Department of Transportation physical
• Regular, Reliable, and Punctual attendance
• Safely transport passengers
• Perform pre/post-trip vehicle inspections
• Assist students in the loading and unloading process
• Monitor student behavior while in transit and remain alert to the welfare of passengers
• Attend meetings and conduct emergency drills as required by the Operations Director
• Ability to perform essential functions while adhering to district policies
• Performs other duties as assigned by the Operations Director or Superintendent

Pay Rate:$50.00 per normal bus route run
