Job summary

Six Flags New England is seeking a safety-minded and guest-focused team member to operate park trams and trolleys. You will monitor tram operations, report issues, and help keep guests safe and informed in a fast-paced theme-park environment.

Ideal candidates are 18+ with reliable English communication, able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays, and willing to assist in various park areas as needed. Starting pay is $23 per hour.

Qualifications

• CDL Class B with passenger endorsement required for bus operations.
• Strong guest service and safety mindset.
• Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Operate park trams and trolleys safely.
• Monitor and adjust bus and tram operations as needed.
• Report maintenance and safety issues to Supervisor.
• Answer guests’ questions and concerns.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment behind scenes and in guest areas.
• Announce safety rules and guidelines over a microphone.
• Enforce Six Flags New England policies.
• Assist in other park areas as required.
• Perform incidental and related duties as assigned.

Responsibilities

• Operating trams and trolleys in a safe and efficient manner
• Monitoring and redirecting bus and trams operations as required
• Reporting maintenance and safety issues to Supervisor
• Answering guests’ questions and concerns
• Identifying and reacting to detailed areas both behind the scenes and in guests’ view in order to maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Announcing safety rules and spiels over a microphone
• Enforcing all Six Flags New England policies
• Assisting in other areas of the park as needed
• Performing other incidental and related duties as required and assigned

Qualifications

• Valid license with a clean driving record
• Valid CDL Class B with passenger endorsement (required for bus operations)
• Ability to sit for up to 6 hours a day
• Commitment to safety
• Friendly outgoing personality
• Willing to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
• Able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language
