Full time, seasonal position at our beautiful Rifle River resort in Sterling, MI!

Outdoor Adventures is looking to add new team members to its roster of motivated employees! We seek individuals with bus driving experience and the ability to tow large, heavy trailers. Our bus drivers set the tone for a fun and safe river ride for our members. We need friendly faces who can assist them and handle the physical tasks of loading and unloading canoes.

Responsibilities:
  • Load and unload canoes
  • Drive a bus towing a large capacity trailer
  • Oversee canoe rides for members; serve as a Subject Matter Expert on the Rifle River area
  • Provide safety instructions for river trips
  • Work with all age groups (children, teens, adults)
  • Prepare and clean canoes, ensuring safety standards are met
  • Greet new arrivals and promote park events and activities
  • Perform other tasks as assigned by management to meet operational needs
Requirements:
  • Over 25 years of age
  • Valid Michigan Chauffeur's License
  • Ability to pass a background check
  • Physical fitness to walk, stand, lift, and perform physical tasks
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Patience and compassion
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or early mornings
  • Willingness to follow all safety policies and procedures
