Job summary

Great Neck Public Schools is seeking a Bus Driver for district-wide service. The role operates Mon-Fri with two split shifts, totaling 7 hours daily over approximately 10 months, starting October 2026. Employment follows the Buildings & Grounds Association agreement. Hours are flexible within morning to late afternoon windows, reflecting school schedules.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Valid NYS Class C License.
• Satisfy all requirements of Article 19-A of NYS Vehicle & Traffic Law & School Bus Drivers rules & regulations of the NYS Commissioner of Education
• NYSED fingerprint clearance
