Job summary

Valley City Public Schools is actively seeking route and substitute bus drivers for AM/PM routes and substitute driving opportunities. A CDL is not required to apply, as training will be provided and assistance offered to obtain the necessary CDL license and endorsements.

Bus drivers will transport students safely following routes, schedules, and safety procedures, with starting pay ranging from $24 to $30 per hour depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background/fingerprint check.
• Must meet DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Must obtain a valid North Dakota CDL with the required school bus/passenger endorsements.
• Must have a current DOT physical or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school and other designated locations while following established routes, schedules, and safety procedures.
