Job summary

Valley City Public Schools is currently seeking route and substitute bus drivers for AM/PM routes and substitute driving opportunities. A CDL is not required to apply!

Valley City Public Schools will provide training and assist qualified applicants with obtaining the necessary CDL license and endorsements. Bus drivers are responsible for safely transporting students to and from school and other designated locations while following established routes, schedules, and safety procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must successfully complete a criminal background/fingerprint check.
• Must meet DOT drug and alcohol testing requirements.
• Must obtain a valid North Dakota CDL with the required school bus/passenger endorsements.
• Must have a current DOT physical or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Safely transporting students to and from school and other designated locations while following routes, schedules and safety procedures.
