Job summary

Grow Early Learning in Fort Pierce, Florida is seeking responsible Bus Drivers to join our team for the season. You will operate a school bus to transport children to their destinations in a safe, punctual manner.

The role requires a valid CDL Class A or B with P&S endorsement, a School Bus Driver Certificate of Training, and a high school diploma or GED. We offer benefits, training and an opportunity to contribute to student safety.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL Class A or B with P&S endorsement and School Bus Driver Certificate of Training.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Effective communication skills.
• Ability to read and write.
• Understanding of DOT regulations.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a bus and transport children to their destinations
• Follow all DOT regulations and company policies
• Keep the bus neat, clean and sanitized according to established procedures outlined in the Grow Early Learning Transportation Manual
• Ensure the safety and comfort of all children throughout the journey
• Follow established bus routes without deviations except when directed to do so by an Emergency Response Team, Lead Bus Driver, Transportation Specialist in coordination with Transportation Manager/ Assistant Transportation Manager
