Job summary

Western States Lodging & Management is seeking a Driver to provide safe, friendly transportation for residents, guests, and others at our properties. You’ll help passengers reach appointments, activities, airports, or local destinations with courtesy from pickup to drop-off.

This role emphasizes safe driving, professional conduct, and a warm, service-oriented approach as part of a dedicated hospitality team. Join us to support a welcoming guest experience across our properties.

Qualifications

• Valid driver's license for the state you will be working in.
• Acceptable driving record and ability to meet company driving requirements.
• CDL preferred but not required unless needed for the assigned vehicle.
• Previous professional driving, transportation, hospitality, or customer service experience is helpful but not required.
• Strong commitment to safe and responsible driving.
• Friendly, patient, and service-oriented approach.
• Ability to communicate clearly with a wide variety of people.
• Ability to follow schedules, directions, policies, and safety procedures.
• Willingness to assist older adults, individuals with disabilities, travelers, or guests with additional needs as appropriate.
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the position, including frequent sitting and assisting with luggage or mobility equipment.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport residents, guests, or other passengers to scheduled destinations.
• Provide friendly, courteous, and professional service throughout each trip.
• Assist passengers entering and exiting the vehicle as appropriate.
• Help with luggage, packages, mobility devices, doors, and other transportation needs.
• Complete scheduled pickups, drop-offs, errands, and delivery assignments in a timely manner.
• Follow designated routes, schedules, traffic laws, and company procedures.
• Conduct basic pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain the cleanliness and professional appearance of assigned vehicles.
• Report vehicle maintenance, safety, or mechanical concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate mileage, trip, inspection, or transportation records as required.
• Protect passenger privacy and confidential information.
• Communicate professionally with passengers, families, guests, associates, and supervisors.

What You’ll Do
