Job Details

• FTE: 0.50 (20 hours/week) to 0.75 (30 hours/week)
• Contract Status: Contract or Non-Contract options
• FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
• Salary: Starting at $23.84/hr, with additional salary schedule details provided
• Reports To: Transportation Manager

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid Driver's License and evidence of insurability
• Must be 21 or older
• Obtain a Commercial Driver License (CDL) within 60 days of hire
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, pass physical standards, and communicate effectively in English

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with children with special needs
• CDL endorsements (passenger, air brakes, school bus)

Essential Functions & Responsibilities

• Drive buses safely on scheduled routes and trips
• Assist students with loading/unloading, including those with special needs
• Supervise students during transit and enforce safety rules
• Perform vehicle maintenance tasks and inspections
• Complete necessary documentation and reports
• Participate in safety drills and meetings
• Respond to inquiries and adapt to changing priorities

Physical Environment & Additional Information
