Sylvania is hiring a School Bus Driver for Orchard Farm School District in Saint Charles, Missouri. This full-time position offers great benefits, including health, dental, vision, and life insurance—fully paid by the employer. The training and competitive salary starts at up to $30.00/hour.

As a bus driver, you will transport students safely over specified routes, ensure compliance with traffic regulations, and create a safe environment for the students. Qualifications include a high school diploma and a Missouri commercial driver's license with P & S endorsements.

Qualifications

• Missouri commercial driver's license with P & S endorsements required within 20 days of hire.
• Prior school bus experience preferred.
• No experience necessary; will train the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Transport students over specified routes according to a schedule.
• Transport students to events and field trips.
• Comply with traffic regulations.
• Drive safely and professionally.
• Enforce the students' discipline code.
• Perform required pre-trip/post-trip inspections.
• Supervise students while transporting them.

• Transport students to events and field trips
• Comply with traffic regulations
• Drive safely and professionally
• Enforce the students discipline code
• Perform required pre-trip/post-trip inspections
• Supervise students while transporting them

• Ability to remain calm and patient at all times
• Ability to lift/move up to 75 pounds occassionally

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or equivalent
• Missouri commercial driver's license with P & S endorsements, required within 20 days of hire.
• Will train the right candidate with a permit CDL

Experience

• No experience necessary, will train the right candidate.
• Prior school bus experience, preferred.

Must participate in all pre-employment screening including criminal background fingerprinting and physical along with participation in annual DOT required drug and alcohol testing and agility testing.
