Job summary

The Hingham Public School system is seeking a Bus Driver to safely transport students to and from school. This is a permanent, benefit eligible position.

Responsibilities include driving students, performing safety inspections, and maintaining vehicle cleanliness while adhering to state and local laws. CDL license required, training available if needed.

Qualifications

• Must have a clean driving record.
• Maintain or be able to maintain a CDL License, required. Training available, if needed.

• Complying with all motor vehicle laws of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, Registry of Motor Vehicles, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, School Committee, and local authorities
• Reporting of all observed student injuries, accidents, illnesses and discipline problems to your supervisor in a timely manner.
• Performing daily pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections of vehicles.
• Maintaining a clean vehicle at all times.
• Will Cooperate with Bus monitor on behavioural issues.
