Job summary

Via Mobility Services is seeking a reliable Bus Driver to operate fixed-route bus service in Boulder and surrounding areas. You will ensure passenger safety, communicate with dispatch, and provide excellent customer service on a daily basis.

The role offers paid training, weekend shifts, and benefits; CDL Class B training is provided at no cost, with opportunities for growth within a nonprofit transportation organization serving the community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid Driver’s License in good standing; CDL Class B preferred.
• Reliable work history with strong punctuality and attendance.
• Ability to work independently and interact with the public.
• Must pass DOT physical and random drug testing.
• Must be at least 19 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate fixed-route bus service open to the public.
• Coordinate with dispatch on scheduling and routes.
• Assist passengers and communicate clearly.
• Work weekends and variable shifts as needed.
• Maintain DOT compliance and vehicle records.

In this role you will work closely with dispatch on scheduling and routes where you will be responsible for communicating and assisting passengers.We have 1 full time position where the general hours are 6:30am through 3:00pm & 1 full time position where the general hours are 1:00pm through 10:30pm . Days to be determined but will include at least one weekend day per week Hours are approximate.The starting range for the position is $23.61-$30.55/ hour depending on years of CDL driving experience with an additional $1/hr differential on weekend shifts.Competitive BenefitsPaid Training!
