Transdev North America, Inc. in Plattsburgh, NY is seeking an experienced Bus Driver to ensure safe and comfortable transportation for passengers while upholding high standards of professionalism and customer service.

Competitive compensation offers $24.02–$25.00 per hour with a $3,000 sign-on bonus. Additional bonuses of $1,000 at 1 year, 3 months, and 6 months reinforce commitment to reliable service and employee growth.

Qualifications

• 21 years or older.
• Valid CDL Class A or B with passenger endorsement.
• Minimum 3 years of driving experience (personal or professional).
• Excellent communication & customer service skills.
• Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
• Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does not authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.

Responsibilities

• Safety-focused operations following routes and schedules with safety protocols.
• Passenger care with boarding, rides, and timely disembarkation.
• Vehicle vigilance with pre-trip and post-trip inspections and reporting issues.
• Adherence to company policies, seat belt enforcement, and regulatory compliance.
• Other duties as required.

Driver/Operator

We are currently on the lookout for an experienced Bus Driver to join our elite team in Plattsburgh, NY. As a key member, you will be entrusted with ensuring safe and comfortable transportation for our passengers, while upholding the highest standards of professionalism and customer service.

Competitive Compensation

• Competitive compensation package of $24.02 - $25.00 per hour
• $3,000 Sign-on Bonus
• Payout once in revenue service
• $1,000 at 1 year
• $1,000 after 3 months
• $1,000 after 6 months

Benefits Include

Physical Requirements

The essential functions of this position require the ability to:

• Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performed outside, work alone and in remote locations.
• Sit for extended periods (up to 6-8 hours per day).
• Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday.
• Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job.
