Job summary

SCHOOL UNION 122 - WOODLAND CONSOLIDATED SCHOOL is seeking an immediate bus driver for the 2026-2027 school year to transport students safely to and from school in all weather conditions. The successful candidate will be reliable, punctual, and able to work in a team environment, with an authoritative yet calm demeanor to ensure a safe traveling environment.

A current CDL with P and S endorsements is preferred, though training is available; applicants must have a clean driving record and CHRC

Qualifications

• Current CDL license with P and S endorsements preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• A clean driving record
• CHRC approval from MDOE.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport students to and from school in all weather conditions.
• Maintain a clean, mechanically sound bus and comply with traffic laws.
• Interact with students in an authoritative and calm manner to maintain safety while traveling.
• Be reliable, punctual and willing to work in a team environment.

IMMEDIATE BUS DRIVER POSITION FOR SY 2026-2027

School Union 122 has an immediate opening for a bus driver for the 2026-2027 school year. The successful candidate must be reliable, punctual, and willing to work in a team environment. They should possess the ability to safely transport students to and from school in all weather conditions. They will maintain a clean and mechanically sound bus and have a strong understanding of traffic laws. The candidate must be willing to interact with students and have an authoritative and calm demeanor to maintain a safe environment while traveling. The candidate should be free of any traffic or criminal violations.

Required Qualifications:

• Current CDL license with P and S endorsements preferred (but willing to train the right candidate)
• A clean driving record
• CHRC approval from MDOE.
