GG&C Bus Company Inc. seeks a full-time bus technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain specialty vehicles and trucks including electrical systems, diesel engines, transmissions, hydraulics, brakes, and drivetrains.

Responsibilities include small repairs, parts ordering, documentation, and reviewing DVIRs to support service department standards for efficiency and productivity. The role requires diagnosing all bus systems, working with a team, and maintaining cleanliness and accurate records.

Qualifications

  • Associates Degree-Technical School or two years of related experience.
  • Class A or B CDL, or the ability to obtain one.
  • Endorsements: Passenger (P) and School Bus (S) or as Required.
  • Ability to pass medical examination.

Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and repair all bus systems and components.
  • Collaborate with others in a team-oriented environment.
  • Perform maintenance on gas- and diesel-powered vehicles and related systems.
  • Maintain cleanliness of work areas and tools.
  • Order parts and read drawings/parts catalogs.
  • Communicate effectively with technicians, supervisors, and customers.
  • Learn new products and methods and potentially teach others.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.
