Job summary

Alexander Dennis in Scarborough is seeking a Vehicle Builder to fit and assemble components to bus and coach body structures in line with design and customer specifications at our Scarborough production facility.

You will work independently and as part of a tight production team, following drawings and instructions, ensuring safe, efficient workmanship and on-time delivery of high-quality vehicles.

Qualifications

• Experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment.
• Ability to use hand and power tools.
• Work from instructions, specifications and engineering drawings.
• Commitment to a safe, tidy working environment.

Responsibilities

• Fit and assemble components to bus and coach body structures per design and customer specifications.
• Work within the Scarborough production facility, ensuring safety, efficiency and high-quality standards.
• Collaborate with Team Leaders, Engineering and Quality to deliver vehicles on time and to specification.
