Job summary

Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority is seeking staff to clean and prepare vehicles for service, maintain facility grounds, and ensure equipment is safe and ready for operation. The role requires safe operation of cleaning tools, PPE adherence, and effective communication with the team.

Candidates should be able to lift, perform physically demanding tasks, and work in diverse environments both indoors and outdoors. Valid NY driver’s license required and ability to obtain CDL as needed.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalent.
• Must possess a valid New York State Driver’s License or ability to obtain one.
• Ability to wear PPE and follow safety policies.
• Ability to operate PIV forklift and other equipment.
• Must communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.

Responsibilities

• Clean and prepare vehicles for service.
• Check cleanliness and serviceability of equipment and report defects.
• Follow supervisor directions; perform additional duties as assigned.
