Qualifications

  • Two years of journey-level experience repairing heavy vehicle or automotive bodies and related parts/structures and completion of a 2-year program from an accredited auto/truck body repair school.
  • Four years of journey-level experience repairing heavy vehicle or automotive bodies and related parts/structures.
  • Experience repairing buses and related parts/desirable
  • Valid California Class C driver's license.

Responsibilities

  • Repair damaged bus bodies, frames, and structural parts.
  • Examine damage and estimate repair costs.
  • Remove damaged parts to access body structure.
  • Assemble replacement parts and weld into position.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies.
