HMSHost in Salt Lake City is seeking a Bus position agent to maintain dining areas and support front-of-house service. Responsibilities include clearing, cleaning, and sanitizing tables, setting tables with silverware and glassware, and upholding company standards to deliver high-quality guest experiences.

The role involves standing for shifts, lifting up to 40 lbs, and collaborating with management to meet daily needs. This is a non-exempt, hourly position aligned with guest service operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to speak, read and comprehend instructions, short correspondence and policy documents, and converse with customers.
• Ability to communicate clearly with customers.
• Must lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
• Must be able to bend, twist and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Monitor front-of-the-house for cleanliness and newly vacant tables.
• Clean and sanitize tables and seats per standards.
• Transport bus pans to dish room and sort china and silverware.
• Change soaking solutions in the silverware pans.
• Prepare silverware for daily use.
• Patrol assigned station, refill beverages, remove service items per procedures.
• Clean and fill table condiments (salt/pepper, sugar, napkins, ketchup/mustard).
• Set up and stock food/beverage areas as required.
• Sweep and mop floors.
