Job summary

Qualifications

• Experience working with children and persons with special needs preferred.
• High school graduate or equivalent required.
• Must have current government issued identification.

Responsibilities

• Promotes safety of students being transported under supervision of transportation supervisor and bus driver.
• Assist students in getting on and off the bus.
• Monitor activities of students and inform drivers of behavioral issues.
• Operate a wheelchair lift to assist disabled students onto/off the bus.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee and student information.
• Participate in required meetings and training sessions.
• Provide materials and maintain tools and supplies for daily duties.
• Coordinates services for special needs students with parents and teachers.
