Job summary

Bloomington Public Schools is seeking dedicated part-time drivers or bus assistants to serve students and families. Shifts are 4-5 hours (split AM & PM routes) with paid training and a benefits package including health, dental, pension, and sick time.

Responsibilities include monitoring Special Ed students on and off the bus, addressing behavior issues, and securing safety equipment such as wheelchairs and seatbelts. Experience with children is a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience with children is a plus.
• Ability to interact positively with parents and school personnel.
• Willingness to learn safety procedures for student transport.
