Starting at $19 per hour with a $200 sign-on bonus, the position requires 18+ years old, valid photo ID, TB testing, CPR/First Aid, and flexible split shifts. On-site work with students, record-keeping, and dependable attendance are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years old.
• Provide a valid government-issued photo ID.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Attend trainings and meetings as required.
• Current and clean criminal abstract (annual).
• Negative TB test (every 2 years) and yearly chest X-ray.
• CPR and First Aid certified.
• Work flexible split shifts.
• Basic arithmetic and time-keeping.
• Follow instructions orally or in writing.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment while serving students, school and community.
• Promote Lokahi, Ha’aheo, Kina’ole values.
• Strong service orientation for students with disabilities.

Responsibilities

• Transport students, know pick-up/drop-off routes and assist with directions.
• Assist driver in identifying and observing dangerous conditions.
• Load and secure wheelchairs as instructed.
• Unload students at destinations to authorized persons.
• Maintain and distribute required paperwork (timesheets, attendance, incident forms).
• Clean vehicle weekly and perform daily inspections for secure items.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
