Muscatine Community School District Transportation – Muscatine, Iowa
Muscatine Schools is hiring a Special Ed Bus Aide. The role involves working with special education students, providing general supervision, and supporting transportation services. Additional responsibilities may include other tasks as needed.
Pay: $17.93 per hour.

The employee must frequently stand, walk, use hands to handle objects, talk and hear. The employee must squat, stoop, kneel, reach above the head and forward 0‑24 inches and on occasion up to 36 inches. The employee may need to grasp objects with hand strength and may need to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds 0‑12 feet and occasionally up to 20 feet. The employee may push/pull items such as tables and carts. Specific vision abilities include close vision, color vision and ability to adjust focus while supervising students and working with computers and written materials.
The work environment is usually quiet. The position may require extended hours beyond a typical 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. workday. The employee will work in various classroom areas, standing, moving, supervising indoor and outdoor activities. Indoor temperature is typical but the employee will work outdoors when supervising students outside the classroom.
