Job summary

Reliant Student Transport, LLC is seeking a caring, dependable part-time School Bus Assistant. You will ride along on our buses to support students with special needs and help ensure a safe, positive transportation experience.

Duties include assisting students with boarding and exiting, securing belts or wheelchairs, monitoring safety, and communicating any concerns to the driver. Training is provided, and a family-owned environment awaits.

Qualifications

• Enjoy working with children and creating a safe, supportive environment.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist students as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist students with boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Help secure seat belts, harnesses, or wheelchairs as needed.
• Support students with special needs during the ride and monitor safety on the route.
• Communicate with the driver about student needs or issues.
• Provide comfort and reassurance to students during transport.
