Job summary

CentralCare Inc. seeks a highly skilled Registered Nurse to provide full-time Medical/Surgical services at Brook Army Medical Center in San Antonio, TX. The RN will support military families as a federal civilian contractor, with a pay rate of 44/hr plus differentials.

Requirements include an approved nursing degree, active RN licensure in the U.S., BLS/ALS certifications, and at least one year of recent experience in the specialty. PTO, holidays, and full-time scheduling are provided.

Qualifications

• Degree in nursing from an approved program with transcript and diploma submitted.
• Current CPR/BLS certification; ALS per ARC; other required certifications.
• Active RN licensure in at least one U.S. state and unencumbered.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and review patient history; assist physicians; administer medications and treatments; document care per BAMC standards.
• Develop and implement nursing care plans; educate patients and families; monitor and report patient status.
• Communicate with charge nurse and physicians; supervise LPNs and unlicensed staff; participate in staff conferences.
