Job summary

HCA Healthcare is seeking a Burn Unit Registered Nurse II at Methodist Hospital in San Antonio. You will care for patients with burn injuries, supporting healing journeys and comfort across stays from days to weeks. You will work with a dedicated team to deliver compassionate, high-quality, patient-centered care.

The role includes assessing conditions, administering treatments, educating families, and collaborating with the multidisciplinary team to tailor care to each patient’s needs.

Qualifications

• BLS must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
• RN required to practice as a Registered Nurse.
• Associate Degree or Bachelor's Degree or RN Diploma.

Responsibilities

• Assessing patient condition and environment to recognize changes, manage pain, and ensure safety.
• Performing procedures and medication administration including pain relief and wound care.
• Educating and supporting patients and families to navigate recovery.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team for patient-centered care.
