Job summary

Kinsley Steel, Inc. is seeking a full-time Machine Operator to set up and run the burn table for plate materials. You will work with state-of-the-art equipment and join a team focused on quality and customer service.

Responsibilities include selecting machine settings, measuring parts to specifications, recording daily operations, and maintaining a safe, organized workspace. The ideal candidate reads CAD drawings, uses a tape measure to 1/16 inch, and is reliable for 2nd shift and overtime.

Qualifications

• Interpret CAD drawings, symbols, and notes.
• Read tape measure to within 1/16".
• Stand for prolonged periods.
• Attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Reliable, punctual, and strong work ethic.
• Willing to work 2nd shift and overtime.
• Experience with CNC machines is preferred.
• Experience with operating overhead crane is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate the burn table to process plate materials.
• Select correct machine settings for burning, drilling, and processing operations.
• Measure materials to ensure conformance with design specifications.
• Transfer data onto materials.
• Keep a clean, organized and safe work area.
• Maintain an accurate record of daily operations and material usage.
