Job summary

Great Basin Industrial is seeking a detail-oriented Burn Table Operator in Plymouth, UT to join our fabrication team. This full-time position offers a compensation of $18 - $28 per hour based on experience. You will be responsible for adhering to safety rules, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring a clean work environment. Employment Type: Full-time, hourly

Compensation: $18 - $28 per hour, depending on experience

Location: Plymouth, UT

GBI in Plymouth, UT is seeking a detail-oriented and responsible Burn Table Operator to join our fabrication team. If you have a strong background in machine operation, overhead crane experience, and a commitment to safety and quality we encourage you to apply and become a part of our team.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to all company safety rules and procedures
• Follow operational instructions outlined by plate processing manager
• Maintain accurate records of part numbers, job numbers, and cut sheets
• Keep work area organized, clean, and safe
• Report any dimensional discrepancies to the plate processing manager or QA/QC team

Requirements

• Prior experience in operating burn tables preferred but not required
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in work
• Ability to operate handheld grinders, overhead cranes, forklifts, read a tape measure, and lift 50 lbs.
• Good communication skills for reporting and coordination
• Ability to maintain an organized and clean work environment

Physical Demands

• Frequently lift, carry, push, and pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds
• Perform physically demanding tasks for extended periods (8-12+ hour shifts)
• Stand, walk, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and crawl for prolonged periods
• Reach overhead and work with arms extended
• Climb ladders, work in manlifts up to 25 feet above ground
• Work in confined spaces and at elevated heights when required

Work Environment

• Exposure to dust, noise, and industrial hazards
• Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is required at all times

Schedule Requirements

• Ability to work extended hours, including overtime, weekends, or swing shifts as needed to meet project deadlines
