Job summary

Vishay Intertechnology, Columbus, NE, is seeking a Burn-In Tech on 1st shift to support production of resistors and related components. You will load and unload burn-in racks, monitor voltages, and troubleshoot issues to keep lines running smoothly.

The role requires a High School Diploma or equivalent and some hands-on training with automated machinery. Overtime may be available; a comprehensive benefits package is provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three months to one year training in the application of complex or automated machinery, equipment, and processes.
• Training in using and operating complex/automated machinery with specifications, drawings or plans.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for Burn-In of resistors to customer specifications.
• Computes Burn-In Layouts and Schedules to maximize Burn-In capacity.
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex burn-in problems.
• Load and unload burn-in racks to maintain continuous product flow and monitor voltages when required.
• May run Special Test equipment, GARD, Read-In/Out, STOL, Vacuum Racks as assigned.
• Coordinate with Supervisor and Special Test personnel on type and value of units to be expedited or processed.
• Maintain all Burn-In reports and records.
