Job summary

Detroit Medical Center (DMC) is seeking a Registered Nurse for the Burn ICU in Hamtramck, MI. This staff RN role requires strong leadership and collaboration across the nursing team to deliver high‑quality care.

The RN will manage patient care, coordinate with physicians and support services, and participate in discharge planning and quality initiatives. A sign‑on bonus up to $10,000 is available based on experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a school of nursing required.
• BSN preferred.
• To practice as an RN in Michigan required.
• AHA BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Establishes collaborative relationships with physicians and other health care providers.
• Delegates, assesses, provides and evaluates patient care.
• Provides and delegates patient care activities to team members.
• Monitors patient progress and prepares patient for discharge.
• Reports to senior unit management and participates in shared decision-making.
