Job summary

MetroHealth Main Campus- Glick is seeking a registered nurse to join the Burn Intensive Care Unit, 3 West. The role supports adult and pediatric burn patients, with emphasis on hemodynamic stability, sterile dressing changes, and complex wound care. You will collaborate with PCNAs, trauma/burn surgeons, respiratory therapy, and other specialists.

Required qualifications include Ohio RN licensure, BLS, ACLS and PALS; PRN experience. The unit has 8 beds and offers tuition reimbursement and OPERS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program; Ohio RN licensure required.
• Current Ohio RN license; BLS required; ACLS/PALS within 90 days or 6 months.
• PRN requires 1 year of RN experience; certifications upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for adult and pediatric burn patients in a ICU setting.
• Perform sterile dressing changes and infection prevention.
• Manage hemodynamic instabilities and ventilators/CRRT.
• Collaborate with trauma surgeons, respiratory therapy, and other care teams.
