Qualifications

• Must have an active Indiana RN license and BLS within 30 days of hire.
• Burn ICU experience required; charge/preceptor experience preferred.
• BSN strongly preferred; leadership experience valued.

Responsibilities

• Lead Burn ICU Shift Operations: coordinate staffing, plan shifts, and direct nursing teams within the Burn ICU and related specialty areas.
• Manage Intensive Patient Care & Productivity: assess complex daily burn/critical care needs to allocate assignments and justify variances.
• Mentor & Educate Burn Care Staff: direct, monitor, and educate nursing staff on ICU protocols and participate in hiring/training decisions.
• Resolve Complaints & Manage Care Quality: address patient care complaints to maintain high standards of quality and family support.
• Optimize Critical Resources & Dynamics: prioritize patient and physician dynamics and ensure availability of burn unit resources.
