Job summary

Allegheny Health Network’s AHN West Penn Burn Center seeks an experienced Registered Nurse to provide leadership and direct patient care in a high-paced burn unit. The role emphasizes collaboration with interdisciplinary teams, patient safety, and evidence-based practice from injury through rehabilitation.

The position requires PA RN licensure (or eNLC), CPR certification, and background clearances. Involvement in quality initiatives and ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Qualifications

• Current PA RN licensure or multi-state licensure through the enhanced Nurse Licensure Compact (eNLC).
• CPR certification.
• Act 34 Criminal Background Clearance Certificate.
• Act 33 Child Abuse Clearance Certificate.
• Act 73 FBI Fingerprinting Background Clearance Certificate.

Responsibilities

• Provides leadership in a professional practice setting.
• Collaborates with interdisciplinary teams to evaluate clinical care.
• Manages assignments based on patient needs and staff skills.
• Assesses patient conditions and intervenes with physician notification when needed.
